Audubon Community Nature Center

Located 10 minutes south of Jamestown on a 600-acre wetland preserve, the Audubon Community Nature Center connects people to nature and promotes environmentally responsible practices. The sanctuary includes over five miles of trails, a native tree arboretum, picnic areas, a natural play area, and educational gardens for you to explore daily from dawn to dusk. You can visit Liberty, a non-releasable Bald Eagle, in her enclosure near the building. Inside the Nature Center, visit the Blue Heron Gift Shop and three floors of interactive exhibits, including live animals. Programs and events are held throughout the year.
