The Reg Announces Season Schedule for 2014-15

For the first time in several years, the Reg Lenna Center for the Arts has released a full schedule for its upcoming season. This is a big step for Jamestown's largest theater and a sign of things to come as the venue hits its stride under the leadership of Kathleen Eads. In addition to the impressive list of events below, there are many other events happening at the Reg produced by an array of community partners. Many regular Reg patrons will notice that the next Southern Tier Brewing Co. "Live" concert will take place November 14th. You can see a complete list of all the events happening at the Reg here.

Harry Chaplin: A Family Celebration - Friday, October 3rd
A promise made in Jamestown 33 years ago by legendary musician Harry Chapin will be carried out this fall at The Reg Lenna Center for The Arts. Harry Chapin: A Family Celebration on October 3, will unite the late singer-songwriter’s brother, nieces and touring bandmates in a concert that has been three decades in the making. More info on the Reg's Web site.

Cirk La Putyka Presents: Slapstick Sonata - Tuesday, November 11th
Visual poetry meets physical comedy with a dash of contemporary circus… and the night shift will never be the same!  In a darkened warehouse in Prague, the late shift of workers goes through the motions of another tedious overnight. But all is not what it seems. Slowly, this group of late night laborers breaks out of their mundane routine, shedding their drab existence for a vibrant and glorious explosion of color, humor, movement, silliness, and physical theater. More info on the Reg's Web site.

The Soul Of Flamenco By Flamenco Vivo - Tuesday, February 24th
Flamenco Vivo brings an exciting evening of dance to the Reg Lenna Center for The Arts.  Featuring accomplished artists from the U.S. and Spain, the performance will include celebrated repertoire as well as the new work “A Solas” by Ángel Muñoz which the NY Times deemed “…impressive for its compositional finesse.” More info on the Reg's Web site.

Caladh Nua - Sunday, March 8th
Throughout history, Ireland has been embraced as a land of song and singers, of music and musicians; men and women who for centuries have been inspired and nurtured by the sounds and swells of her windblown nature. It is from the traditional heart of this musical island that Caladh Nua have been born, raised and released into the world. More info on the Reg's Web site.

Broadway’s Next H!T Musical - Saturday, April 25th
The hysterical Broadway’s Next H!T Musical is the only unscripted theatrical awards show. Master improvisers gather made up, hit song suggestions from the audience and create a spontaneous evening of music, humor, and laughter. The audience votes for their favorite song and watches as the cast turns it into a full blown improvised musical - complete with memorable characters, witty dialogue, and plot twists galore. More info on the Reg's Web site.
