The Jamestown Audubon Center & Sanctuary connects people to nature and promotes environmentally responsible practices through education at its Center, sanctuary, and in the community. Our facilities include over five miles of beautifully maintained trails on a 600-acre wetland preserve. Our 3-story nature center building contains a nature store, a small collection of live fish, reptiles and amphibians, and interactive displays that inform and engage visitors of all ages. In addition, we care for a non-releasable bald eagle named Liberty, who provides us with many teaching and learning opportunities.
